About the Service

Inverclyde Skywatchers keeps it's like minded members entertained, encouraged and furnished with as much information and knowledge about the wonders of the Universe and Space. The group have great in house speakers and have high profile guest speakers. (Talks about the Moon and the Lunar Eclipse, Iceland and the Tectonic Plates, The Aurora Borealis, The International Space Station, Volcanoes in the Solar System to mention just a few). ISW have been on various trips, including the Dark Skies Observatory and have attended talks at Paisley Town Hall, which hosted Mission Discovery Week, where we listened to talks and presentations from NASA's Assistant Division Chief Sarah Murray, also from Lewis Campbell and Astronaut Steve Bowen, who has missioned to the International Space Station, walked in space and circled the earth goodness knows how many times.
