About the Service

The Shopmobility Service offers people with limited mobility an opportunity to increase their independence and gain access to shops, services and other everyday activities across Inverclyde including the Oak Mall, Waterfront, Esplanade and other walkways. For an annual membership fee of £50.00, or visitors fee for one off usage, we provide a range of mobility vehicles and equipment including:

• electric scooters
• powered and manual wheelchairs
• wheeled walking aids

Some equipment is also available for long term hire. The equipment is easy to use, and full training is given to enhance confidence and ensure their safety. We provide designated parking spaces to the rear of the unit. If you pre-book the service after your initial registration we will meet you at your Shopmobility parking space.
