About the Service

Proud2Care is a group for care experienced young people living in Inverclyde. Members can have any type of care experience from foster care, residential care, kinship care, living at home with support from social work or have support from the through care service. This group make up the young people involved in Inverclyde's Champions Board. Champs is for those who want to do planning and impact on change. The young people who wish to be involved in the Champs group are able to be involved in the planning for change, speak at conferences, host workshops, plan meetings with the key decision makers (Head of Council, Police, HSCP, the corporate parents involved). This group is all solution focused. Dinner is provided for this group - and on request transport is also provided.
