About the Service

Families “in the know” Inverclyde aims to provide empathic community connections with other families who want action and information on what services are in their community.

We are a group looking to looking to share experiences, challenges and triumphs on human rights, carers rights and welfare rights.

We have a rated podcast on Spotify which will allow the community to have their voices heard. Spotify link.

Our Facebook page and upcoming private members group provides a space for families to connect to resources and find collaborative advice.

We hope to invite guest speakers with valuable information to encourage self-advocacy and get voices heard.

Our committee has extensive knowledge on the services within the community and we have two facilitators with numerous years of peer support in recovery hubs, core skills in counselling and from lived experience.

We want to empower change for families by keeping them “in the know”, information is power.
