About the Service

Greenock and the Sea is a new exhibition exploring Inverclyde’s maritime history curated by a St Andrews University academic. The exhibition features work from our permanent collection selected to tell the story of Inverclyde’s maritime history and the diverse people and places that are part of this story. Take some time for yourself and visit our gallery space to enjoy these fine paintings, reflect on the history of the town and let us know what the sea means to you.
