About the Service
In-Work Enterprises Ltd have been delivering landscaping, grounds maintenance, planting, and community projects since 1993 and have built a strong local reputation for our quality, health and safety and positive social outcomes. We deliver projects to a range of public, private and 3rd sector clients in the greater Glasgow and Clyde areas, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire.
What makes us different? We are a Social Enterprise, which means we invest all our profits back into the business or into the local community. We are wholly owned by Inverclyde Association for Mental Health and provide training, voluntary and work-related opportunities in landscaping, ground maintenance and horticulture to people who have experienced mental health issues. It is widely accepted that work can play a vital role in recovery for many people with mental health needs. Our projects support people to achieve their potential by improving their social skills, confidence, independence and through meaningful volunteering and training, their employability. So not only do you get top quality work when you use our services, you help people who have been long-term unemployed get back into work.
Our works are delivered under the instruction of full-time horticulturalists and experienced site supervisors managed by our project manager based in Greenock.
