Carers Groups
Our Young Carers Groups are back, (open to young carers between 16 and 25) – every Tuesday and Wednesday 5pm-7pm! 😃
🔸 Tuesday – young carers. Activities like games, crafts and outings.
🔸 Wednesday – young carers. Relaxed socialising with films and music.
Come on down to the Centre on Cathcart Street, Greenock, for peer support, group activities, to get a break and have fun!
What we do
Inverclyde Carers Centre will provide a service to identify and support Carers to recognise and be recognised by others for their valuable contribution to society. Our Aims and Objectives:
- To promote the recognition of Carers amongst service providers as partners
- To help Carers access appropriate services
- To promote the rights of Carers
- To provide short breaks for Carers
- To establish a Carers Network
- To enable Carers to participate in planning and influencing the development of services
- To enable Carers to take opportunities for paid/ unpaid activities within or outwith their home
- To work in partnership with other agencies as appropriate
