About the Service

"With a lifetime of work and a lifetime of living, comes a lifetime of skills; at Inverclyde Shed we want to help enable people to share these Skills and Experiences with others and learn new ones as well."

The Inverclyde Shed is a place where you will find a warm, welcoming and safe environment to learn new skills and also pass on any skills you have, meet new people and engage more. At our Shed we undertake projects for the local community - giving something back. At our community gardens located in Gourock and Port Glasgow, you can learn about growing your own food.

We want everyone to feel included and have a good time so we look forward to Shed trips out to the beach, museums or meeting up with other Shed groups. We make an assortment of different items, such as bird tables/boxes, planters, pebble art, wind chimes, recycling of tools, recycling of deck chairs/chairs - giving them a new lease of life.

Read more about our work to support the community on the Inverclyde Life Community Spotlight blog here.

Please note, we are expecting to move to our new address at 14 East Blackhall Street, Greenock, PA15 1HD on the 26th June 2023.
