About the Service

Looking at working in a social care environment but don't have the certificates? The Trust are offering a 2-day course from The Scottish Manual Handling Passport Scheme. Supported by COSLA, HSE and The Scottish Government, the aim of this course is to enable candidates to comply with health, safety and legal requirements and to be aware of current legislation regarding moving and handling. They will be introduced to, and explained, the safe methods of people moving and handling and how to facilitate the application of these principles by practical demonstration. Travel and Lunch will be covered for those on the course.
