About the Service

The Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club (RWSABC) offers the opportunity to participate in kayaking, open water swimming, rowing and sailing. There is also opportunities for social activities consisting of music, talks and films in the Boat Club. The members of RWSABC have a programme of sporting activity throughout the year.  We have organised sporting activities on set evenings between mid-April and mid-September.  There are social activities throughout the year in our Clubhouse. The Royal West is the starting location for Health Walks, organised through The Inverclyde Bothy, on a Wednesday evening at 7:00pm (Contact the Inverclyde Bothy for more information about the Health Walks.)

There are various categories of membership. Write to our Subscriptions Convener, subscriptions@rwsabc.com for more information. There is a low cost Introductory Membership valid for 1 month for people who want to try out a sport or sports before committing to full membership.
