About the Service
Turning Point Scotland has provided services in Inverclyde since 2002 and has grown to work within the local area from Port Glasgow to Skelmorlie. The services we provide are supported living, housing support, social opportunities and peer group support nights.
The type of support we provide is tailored to suit the needs of the individual, we can support people from a few hours per week to 24/7.
We use a person-centered approach and carry out regular reviews of service to ensure individual goals, aspirations and needs are being met for people with learning and physical disabilities, and people who are on the autistic spectrum. Each individual which we support has a named key worker who oversees and coordinates their support package.
Support is varied and is provided to suit the individual, this can include:
• Support to maintain a home
• Access to education and employment
• Personal care
• Health and wellbeing
• Support to manage money
• Access to leisure activities
• Building domestic skills
• Building confidence and self-esteem
