About the Service

The Unity Works programme is a 1:1 bespoke employability support service primarily for people with a learning disability and/or autism who are looking to find suitable training, education, voluntary work or paid employment.  Participants are supported to gain recognised qualifications relevant to their own goals and abilities, to develop vocational skills, and to take clear steps towards suitable and sustainable positive outcomes.  The programme is for up to one year, but we aim to move participants through the programme as efficiently and effectively as possible into outcomes which they will sustain and enjoy.
