About the Service

Thanks to CVS Inverclyde we have received the Warm Hand of Friendship funding which is allowing us to host a brand new lunch group. Attendees will take advantage of our warm, welcoming hub, and enjoy a hot, nutritious meal prepared onsite by our Garden's Cafe team. Attendees will also enjoy some light activities and entertainment - to encourage socialising, learn from inspirational guests from the local community, and of course to have fun! We will have animal visits, singers, cooks, gardeners, and many more still to be organised.

This group is free to attend thanks to the Warm Hand of Friendship funding - however, attendees will be elderly folks in the local community who are in need of the services that the group offers. Perhaps you are isolated, lonely, new to the area, or experiencing loss, and you would benefit from the socialising and connections offered by the group. Perhaps you are struggling to find comfort in your usual routine following the rising cost of energy prices, or you find it difficult to cook a hot, nutritious meal at home. This is the group for you. Please get in touch with erin@inwork.org.uk or 01475 553570 to join.
